Dr. Cesar Aranguri is the Chief of Cardiology at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center (Rancho) and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Past President of the So. California Chapter of the Peruvian American Medical Society, and member of the Heart Rhythm Society. In 2017 received the “John E. Affeldt, Distinguished Physician Award “. In 2015 - 2017, he served as President for the Professional Staff Association at Rancho and has held academic appointments as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science and Assistant Clinical Professor of Step III at David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA. Throughout his career, Dr. Aranguri has received numerous accolades, which include the 2009 Physician of the Year Award, 2007 Faculty Commitment Award, and the 2001 Excellence in Teaching Award. He is Director of Ayacucho Mission, which is a non-profit organization that provides medical care to the impoverished community of Ayacucho, Peru.
