About Us
The Orthotics and Prosthetics Department at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care to individuals with neurological and musculoskeletal disorders that affect their ability to walk or use their upper extremities.

As a unit of RRI, the Orthotics and Prosthetics Department offers a comprehensive range of orthotic and prosthetic services across various diagnostic areas, catering to both inpatients and outpatients. Our dedicated staff of orthotists and prosthetists collaborates closely with a multi-disciplinary team to create personalized assessment and treatment plans for our clients. Working in consultation with therapists and physicians, our practitioners ensure that each patient receives the most suitable orthotic and prosthetic design.

Located on-site at RLANRC and off-site at our Rives location, our departments maintains a swift response and follow-up system to meet the inpatient’s and outpatient’s needs efficiently. Additionally, it provides easy accessibility for clinic patients. Our team consists of skilled orthotists, prosthetists, and fitters who are well-equipped to address the diverse needs of patients requiring orthotic and prosthetic devices for their legs, arms, or spine. We offer a wide range of designs, from custom-made to prefabricated, all aimed at maximizing functionality in the most cost-effective manner possible.
