Communication Disorders Director

Director of the Communication Disorders Department at RLANC, received a BA from Stanford University and an MA from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her clinical work is in the area of speech-language therapy with adults and children with neurogenic cognitive/communication disorders. She served as Chief Medical Information Officer at Rancho from 2012-2018, including design/build/implementation of ORCHID and EPCS (Electronic Prescription of Controlled Substances). Other special assignments at Rancho include participating on the LEAD team (implementation of VMI-Video Medical Interpreting system at Rancho), Founding Co-chair of PAC (Patient Advisory Council), Action Learning Coach in the Leaders Are Learners Leadership Training Program; Subject Matter Expert for DHS Patient Portal Team, and Executive Council Lead for the People and Communication Strategic Planning Area (SPA).
