Clinical Trial
Partnership and Research Services
Rancho Research Institute has led innovative clinical trials for decades, advancing research in spinal cord injury, neuro-rehabilitation, mobility, and post-stroke care.
We now provide comprehensive clinical research services to companies developing treatments, therapies, and technologies aimed at improving the lives of individuals with physical disabilities.
By leveraging our specialized network of clinicians, equipment, and participants you gain targeted insights essential for evaluating efficacy, safety, and impact. All proceeds directly fund non-profit programs that improve quality of life for people with disabilities.
About Our Patient Population
Our patients represent a wide range of disabilities and care needs, offering a rare opportunity to evaluate interventions in rehabilitation, treatment, and daily living. These interventions can be assessed at both the individual level and in group settings.
Primary Disabilities & Injuries
Patients with physical disabilities from spinal cord injury, stroke, brain injury, amputation, or neuromuscular disorders.
These individuals often need ongoing rehab, medical care, and assistive technology - providing a vital setting to test solutions that improve mobility, function, and independence.
Secondary & Chronic Conditions
Many patients at Rancho manage conditions like diabetes, heart disease, bladder and bowel issues, and neuropathic pain alongside their primary injuries. These complexities create opportunities to test interventions in populations with interconnected care needs.
Daily Life & Aging with Disability
A large population of Rancho patients are engaged in long-term rehabilitation or programs that support daily function, such as occupational and group therapy. We also serve individuals aging with disability, creating a valuable setting to test interventions that promote quality of life across different stages.
