Speaker's Biography:

Leslie Canham is a nationally recognized speaker and consultant specializing in infection control, OSHA compliance, the Dental Practice Act, and HIPAA regulations. In the dental field since 1972, Ms. Canham’s dental experience and expertise helps dental professionals reduce risks and comply with OSHA regulations. As an authorized OSHA outreach trainer, registered dental assistant, and certified speaking professional, Leslie helps dental teams work safely and confidently!

Leslie is an accredited CE provider by the Dental Board of California, and is certified to provide courses that meet Infection control and Dental Practice Act license renewal requirements. CE certificates will be issued directly through Leslie Canham.

Course Summary:

The recent Covid-19 pandemic demands that we review, update, and fine tune our infection control protocols and OSHA compliance. There are many new challenges for dental professionals: not enough PPE, difficulty obtaining the correct PPE, which CDC guidelines to follow, and how to comply with the OSHA respiratory plan, to name a few. Leslie will address these concerns, as well as many other issues in order to help the dental team navigate this new normal in dentistry.

This course meets the OSHA required training for Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Communication, Aerosol and Transmissible Diseases. It also meets Dental Practice Act and Infection Control license renewal requirements.
