Ziyad Ayyoub

MD

Dr. Ziyad Ayyoub is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California (UCLA), a Clinical Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Western University of Health Sciences, he is the chief of Medical Staff, Medical Director of Outpatient Specialty Care, and the Vice Chair of the Department of Neurorehabilitation at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center(RLANRC), He is the site Director of the UCLA Multicampus Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Training Program, and UCI Spinal Cord Injury Fellowship Training Program at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center.

Dr. Ayyoub specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Spinal Cord Injury medicine, Brain Injury Medicine, Pain Management/Addiction Medicine and Spasticity management. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Spinal Cord Injury Medicine, and Brain Injury Medicine.

Dr. Ayyoub is a Principal Investigator on multiple grant-funded international research projects. His research interest includes spasticity management, Botulinum Toxins therapy and stem cell use for neurorestoration.

Dr. Ayyoub is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) and of the Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP).
