It is with great pride and excitement that we announce Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center has officially achieved our first Magnet® designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)!

This prestigious recognition is a testament to the unwavering dedication, excellence, and compassion that each of you brings to our patients and to one another every single day. Fewer than 10% of hospitals across the country have achieved Magnet status. We are now part of an elite group of hospitals that have earned this distinction.

Even more remarkable, we were awarded 8 Exemplars! Exemplars are special recognitions that highlight where nurses go above and beyond the Magnet standards. These Exemplars showcase practices that are truly exceptional and worthy of national recognition. They are considered Best Practices and will be presented in the Magnet Learning Community®, allowing other hospitals to learn from the outstanding work happening at Rancho.

This achievement belongs to all of us - nurses, clinical teams, support staff, and leadership. We are deeply proud of the culture of excellence and safety that our nurses foster every day. This recognition is not merely a credential but a confirmation of our values and a promise to our patients and the community we serve. Thank you for your commitment, collaboration, and passion for delivering world-class care.

Let’s take a moment to celebrate this incredible milestone together.
